Sony showcases Alpha D-SLR cameras at Gulf Photo Plus
Renowned Canadian photographer Peter Burian will use Sony’s flagship D-SLR range, Alpha for his workshops at the Gulf Photo Plus from 29th April to 4th May 2008.
Sony Gulf is also displaying their latest range of Alpha D-SLR cameras along with an extensive range of accessories and lenses. Peter Burian will conduct a workshop – ‘Intro to the Sony Alpha D-SLR system’ on 2nd of May, where participants will learn more about Sony Alpha cameras, lenses and accessories.
The workshop will also introduce participants into the intricacies of operating the camera. Participants will also benefit from recommendations from Mr. Burian, a professional who has tested the Alpha D-SLR models.
Speaking about the Alpha A300, A350 and A700, Mr. Burian said: “The Alpha DSLR cameras are fast, versatile, easy to operate and capable of generating beautiful images. Any of this trio would be a fine choice for first time DSLR buyers and for many photo enthusiasts. The A300 and A350 provide Quick Live View, a definite bonus because this feature has been very successfully implemented by Sony. While the A350 provides the highest resolution (14 mega pixel), the 12 mega pixel A700 comes close; this very rugged semi-professional model is even faster and more versatile, though more complicated, so it remains most appropriate for the experienced, serious photographer”.
Sony’s latest range of Alpha series on display includes Alpha A300, A350 and A700. All the cameras feature new technologies make picture taking faster and easier. The Unique mechanical design of the Sony Quick live view in the A300 and A350 makes Auto focus possible even while live view is on – thereby saving valuable split seconds of time in comparison to live view models offered by competition.
The A700 is a 12-mega pixel model featuring a unique Exmor CMOS sensor and an outstanding engineering design that minimizes noise drastically. The new range produces images with fine detail, rich tonality and vibrant color.
All models feature lighter, slimmer bodies for easy handling; an improved user interface; an automatic pop-up flash; a comfortable camera grip with an easily accessible mode dial; an anti-dust system to keep the CCD image sensor clean for spot-free pictures.
