Sony released the 6th revision of their widely popular 1″ Sensor RX100 series premium point and shot camera this week. I personally love travelling with my RX100 III due to its size and photo quality.

So, what are the great features packed in the RX100 VI:

    • Advanced Eye AF, ideal for portrait shots
  • 1.0-type stacked 20.1 MP Exmor RS™ CMOS image sensor with DRAM chip and upgraded BIONZ X™ image processor and Front-end LSI
    • The 1.0-type CMOS sensor employs an innovative stacked structure to boost processing speed, while its back-illumination technology increases light collection efficiency to achieve a wide sensitivity range (ISO 80-12800) with reduced noise

Overall Impression

What do you think about the R100 VI? Are you going to get one due to its long 200mm zoom and great 4K HDR video recording feature? Or you are hoping for the RX100 V to reduce its price? I am not really a fan of F2.8-F4.5, I think I am happy to sacrifice zoom to get a F1.8-F2.8 24-70mm RX100 V.
